Teams should be dropped off at the Glenwood Avenue entrance to the school which is on the East side of our building just past our bussing loop (next to the fitness centre and our main gym – see image below) There is no on-site parking, however, there is street parking in the neighbourhood. Please remind all coaches/guests to carefully review parking signage around the school and community. We will have security at this entrance, and teams will need to be signed in by their coach, and the coach will receive a visitor lanyard which is to be worn for the duration of the day. Parents/families are welcome to attend and support each school. They should also enter through the Glenwood entrance and are required to sign in and wear a visitor lanyard (1 per family). Security or a member of the Ashbury coaching staff will then escort teams to the main Gym to drop off your clothing and bags. Outdoor running shoes / Outdoor Boots should be removed prior to entering both gyms and left on the mats outside the gym. If students are worried about leaving their boots/outdoor shoes unattended, they should bring a plastic bag to keep them in. Emergency Evacuation & Safe Shelter (Matthews House) - In the event of a fire alarm or other need for evacuation, we will exit from the gymnasiums to the practice field and then make our way to the Matthews House Residence. Coaches are responsible for conducting a headcount of their team and reporting any missing individuals to Ashbury Security or emergency staff immediately.
